Preparing Devices for a Balance Checkpoint
Clients often ask what to bring and how to prepare. This checklist reflects what we send before every first-time appointment.
Charge every device fully. A dead battery mid-session delays verification and may require rescheduling.
Apply physical labels. We reference your labels in the report—“blue Ledger in desk drawer” is more useful than serial numbers you cannot locate.
Gather prior reports. If you have a previous checkpoint from us or another provider, bring it. Comparison is faster when we can reference documented totals.
List expected variances. If you moved funds between devices since your last checkpoint, tell us before the session. We will still verify on-screen balances, but advance notice prevents unnecessary concern during comparison.
Plan two uninterrupted hours. Checking messages during verification breaks concentration and extends the session.
Leave seed phrases at home. We will never ask for them. If an analyst ever requests key material, end the session and contact our office directly.
